One of the surprises of CES 2025 was the SLAM XCAM 8K VR180 3D Camera.
The Slam Xcam was shown in Las Vegas in January and created quite a buzz, Recently it was announced it has met its funding goal on kickstarter and will be moving forward with production. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vr1803dcamera/slam-vr180-3d-ai-camera-smarter-smoother-sharper/description.
This seems a very exciting and high quality recording device with 8K VR180 images and videos created.

It certainly looks like it has the potential to be an amazing camera. Obviously primarily focused on creating images for the Apple Vision Pro and Meta headsets, while we prefer a SBS pictures and video for universal compatibility it is still excellent to see the expansion of options for 3D creativity.
